Transitional Activities in the Book of Acts
Are the activities that took place in the first chapters of the Book of Acts the norm for church life today? Why don't we see the kind of speaking in tongues, of healings and other miracles that the early Apostles witnessed. Brother Aaron explains in this message preached at Rehrersburg in 1993 that there were transitional activities, elements that helped the people who lived in that day identify where they were in God's unfolding plan of time. By the end of the Book of Acts, or the end of the early apostles, life had become much like we know it today. There are other transitional times. The next transition from this life to the next will be instantaneous.
