In this issue of the EMT we share a goodly number of Bible Conference programs to be held
this spring and summer in many of our churches, and at the Numidia Bible School. We believe that the Old Fashion Bible Conference is still one of the best and most effective means of deepening Christian experience and inspiring Christian commitment and loyalty. This type of fellowship and feasting on the Word will nourish and satisfy the need of the soul.
In this day of atheism and anarchy in the world and festivity and frivolity in the church, what a pleasure it must be to our Heavenly Father when those who love Him speak often one to another about Him. Doubtless His Book of Remembrance is still being written for the day when He will spare His jewels but will burn the wicked with unquenchable fire. What a stench and disappointment it must be to when His professed children are no longer satisfied with the Manna from Heaven and resort to festivals where they excite and entertain themselves with comedian shows, fashion shows, beard contests, tracing rock music, drama and other nostril-running quail food from the desert. Surely feeding on this kind diet is an indication that the Manna has lost its appeal to us and can result in nothing but sickness and death.
Long live the Old Fashion Bible Conference among us. May we never forsake the assembling ourselves together in this manner.
